Teamwork makes the dream work
Recently, we brought the entire Program Team together in Munich to go over the overall strategy, timelines, design and concept of the system. As our team has grown rapidly over the last few weeks and months, this was the perfect opportunity to get everyone on the same page and use this platform as an onboarding session for new colleagues. It also allowed us to discuss any questions in depth, so that the team can move full steam ahead.
While the Program Team was in their 2-day offsite meeting, we received official word that the ITU had accepted our Milestone 1 waiver request. A major part of the team was on hand to share the joy and relief of this great moment together, and although we were confident that we left no stone untouched to secure the waiver, actually securing it (and being the only company pulling this off), gave a great boost to everybody and a sense of urgency and eagerness to now implement the program to meet the next milestone. As Clemens Kaiser posted on LinkedIn: Now the real fun part of our project starts! We used the planned dinner in the evening to celebrate this milestone with even more colleagues from the various teams. It was a historic moment all round
We're now looking forward to building the satellites together with Terran Orbital. The highly experienced and skilled team of experts is working at high speed to achieve our goals. Deployment will begin in 2025 and we will achieve global coverage by 2026. Let's get going!
