About us

Who we are

Rivada Space Networks international and diverse team of experts and engineers who have spent their careers expanding the boundaries and potential of space, now united in pursuit of a single vision. Our team is truly global, just like the constellation we are working to create. Our management team is located at Rivada Space Networks’ Munich Headquarters, and our secondary office in Berlin.

Rivada Space Networks was founded in 2022 by Declan Ganley, Chairman & CEO of Rivada Networks. While Rivada Networks focusses on terrestrial connectivity, Rivada Space Networks adds the satellite part to the business model.

To achieve our ambitious goals, we're currently growing our family and looking for talented and visionary people to join us.

What makes us different

Our mission, simply, is to democratize space.

Rivada Space Networks is not simply building a constellation for consumers. We are building a constellation for people with a vision. We will build the network – but it is up to you how it gets used.

Ours will be the world’s first truly wholesale space network: The wireless high-speed bandwidth we offer will be available to buy, and instantly use, by anybody with a dream to build, better, or expand their own business.

Our joint vision is not only to offer our connectivity services but also to create a carrier-independent wholesale market for wireless high-speed bandwidth where unused capacities can be offered and bought. This approach will lead on the one hand to a much better utilization of capacities, on the other hand it disrupts the current model where carriers buy the right to use wireless spectrum and then tell their customers how, when and where they can buy wireless services.

Our Goal

The network we build will be the world’s most secure: Our satellites will transmit your data through peer-to-peer orbital laser communications, removing the threat of ground-based interference from bad actors.

It will be amongst the world’s fastest: Capable of transmitting your data from pole to pole, hemisphere to hemisphere, in milliseconds.

It will be the world’s most accessible: We are not just building a network for ourselves, but a tool which will launch a thousand ideas, and businesses. A truly global, secure, intranet, enabling companies and governments and individuals to connect across the globe without ever touching the earth.

It will be the world’s most advanced: We are not designing this network simply for today, but for tomorrow, and all the tomorrows to come. At launch, it will be the most technologically advanced constellation of its kind. Our commitment is that it will remain so, serving the needs not just of today, but of those with the ideas that will power and inform our shared future.
